Tom Lowrie is a Centenary Professor at the University of Canberra's Faculty of Education and Director of the STEM Education Research Centre (SERC). His career spans over two decades in mathematics and STEM education research, focusing on spatial reasoning, visual imagery, and digital tools in learning. He has held administrative roles including Head of School, Head of Campus, and Research Director. Lowrie leads the nationally funded Early Learning STEM Australia (ELSA) project, aimed at enhancing children's STEM engagement and digital literacy.
