Todd Reynolds serves as the Director of the School of Teacher Education and an Assistant Professor of Secondary Education at the University of Wyoming's College of Education. His academic roles include teaching courses in English Language Arts and Elementary Literacy Methods, supervising student teachers, and leading research on dialogic instruction and disciplinary literacy. Reynolds holds a Ph.D. in Literacy Education from the University of Wyoming (2015), an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership (University of Northern Colorado, 2008), and earlier degrees in English.
His research focuses on whole-class discussion, disciplinary literacy in English education, and teacher preparation. Notable contributions include studies on dialogic teaching practices and the integration of antiracist approaches into literacy education. Reynolds has been recognized with awards such as the 2021-2022 Faculty Award for Outstanding Advising and the Mary Garland Early Career Fellowship (2020-2022).
