Margaret Mnayer

Dr. Margaret Mnayer is a Lecturer in the Department of Teacher and Special Education. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in reading and adolescent literacy, with a focus on disciplinary literacy and pedagogical practices.

In 2023, Dr. Mnayer published and presented work on adolescent literacy practices, writing interventions (IMSCI Model), and the use of photovoice as a counternarrative tool in the context of #BLM protests. Her publications highlight intersections between literacy education, critical pedagogy, and educational equity.
