Dr. Olin specializes in pediatric airways disease and high-performance exercise limitation, with concentrated expertise in dyspnea on exertion, exercise intolerance in children, exercise-induced asthma (EIA), and exercise-induced laryngeal obstruction (EILO). His research bridges clinical pulmonology and exercise physiology to develop interventions for diverse populations—from chronically ill children to Olympic athletes—ensuring safe and comfortable physical activity across health and fitness spectrums. His publications in pediatric airways disease and exercise limitation inform evidence-based approaches at the National Jewish Health center he directs.
As a Clinical Associate Professor, Dr. Olin integrates clinical leadership with academic instruction in human physiology, emphasizing practical applications for breathing disorders during exertion. His work exemplifies translational medicine through the Exercise and Performance Breathing Center’s diagnostic and therapeutic protocols.
