Dr. Tirthankar Ghosh is a Professor and Director of the Connecticut Institute of Technology at the University of New Haven within the Tagliatela College of Engineering's Department of Computer Engineering and Computer Science. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Florida International University and has over 18 years of experience in cybersecurity education and research.
His research focuses on network anomaly detection in industrial control systems, autonomous vehicle security, threat detection, and adversary behavior analysis. Primary domains include cybersecurity, network defense, and industrial IoT security, with specialized work on entropy-based analysis and MITRE ATT&CK framework applications.
Dr. Ghosh has secured over $15 million in grants from entities including the National Science Foundation, National Security Agency, and Office of Naval Research.
