Dr. Ahmed Walid Amro is a Research Fellow at NTNU specializing in maritime cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection. His research develops risk assessment frameworks for autonomous ships and industrial control systems, utilizing MITRE ATT&CK frameworks for threat analysis.
Projects include Autoferry (autonomous passenger ferries), CertifAI (AI-enhanced cybersecurity certification), and cPAID (cloud-based AI defense). Supervised 7+ master's theses on maritime cybersecurity and cyber range development.
