معرفی
Dr. Tingting Zhu is affiliated with the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London, contributing to the Metal Forming and Materials Modelling research group. Her research focuses on superplastic forming simulation, including developing constitutive rules for grain boundary deformation and multi-scale modelling for industrial applications. She also investigates plasticity mechanical size effects in metals/ceramics and creep properties in polymeric coatings.
Qualifications: BEng and MEng in Materials Science and Engineering.
Research Interests: Superplasticity, discrete dislocation finite element simulation, and multi-scale modelling. Her work aims to enhance accuracy in simulating deformation modes and damage evolution during superplastic forming processes.
Advising & Opportunities: She is involved in a PhD studentship program on recycled steels for forming and welding applications, alongside Professors Liliang Wang, Daniel Balint, Jun Jiang, Zhusheng Shi, and Jianguo Lin.
