Prof. Tine Buyl is a Full Professor of Organization Studies at Tilburg University, Netherlands, and holds the chair of 'Strategy, Strategic Leadership, and Organizational Resilience.' She earned her Ph.D. in Business Economics from the University of Antwerp. Her research focuses on strategic leadership, top management teams (TMTs), CEO behavior, and organizational resilience. She is actively involved in academic initiatives such as co-organizing workshops on Top Management Teams and serving as a National Representative for the European Academy of Management.
Her research interests include the impact of CEOs and TMT dynamics on organizational processes and outcomes, with emphasis on resilience, CSR, and strategic decision-making. She has published in journals like Leadership Quarterly and Journal of Management Studies. Her work bridges neuroscience and leadership, examining how intrinsic motivations influence CSR investments.
