Cécile Verhaar is a PhD candidate and Lecturer at Tilburg University, affiliated with the Tilburg School of Social and Behavioral Sciences and the Department of Organization Studies. Her PhD research focuses on knowledge sharing/creation in cross-border interorganizational collaborations for innovation, utilizing the QCA method. She is supervised by Tine Buyl and Roel Rutten. Verhaar holds an MSc in Psychology and has taught students across various age groups and academic levels, from children to adults. Her research interests include Cultural Psychology, cross-cultural competencies, and Diversity and Inclusion.
Education: She studied Psychology, History, and has extensive teaching experience in multiple disciplines. Professional Activities: She is an active member of SIETAR and the SIG Experiential and Transformative Learning group at Tilburg University. In 2024, she delivered an invited talk on knowledge exchange in management and organizational consulting.
Awards: She received the Teaching Award for the Best Bachelor Course 2023 in 2024. Her teaching focuses on courses like Evidence-Based Intervention Strategies and Academic and Vocational Skills. She also engages in consultancy and evaluation work related to organizational dynamics in interconnected systems.
