Dr. Roel Rutten is an Associate Professor in the Department of Organization Studies at Tilburg University, with secondary appointments as Core Fellow at Tilburg University's Center for Innovation Research and as Visiting Fellow at Newcastle University Business School (2010-2012). His research focuses on knowledge creation processes in organizational and regional contexts, with particular emphasis on network dynamics, spatial/social/technological proximities, and their impacts on innovation systems.
