Dr. Tina Wu is an Adjunct Professor at Trinity Western University (TWU), contributing to the Master of Arts in Leadership Program since 2010. She holds a PhD from Case Western Reserve University and specializes in leadership assessment, cross-cultural healthcare, and healthy aging. Her clinical partnership with Vancouver Coastal Health Authority EFAP program underscores her commitment to healthcare equity. Dr. Wu’s research focuses on Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI), mental health of marginalized communities, and cross-cultural healthcare utilization among Chinese-speaking immigrants in BC. She teaches graduate-level courses in research methodology and employee engagement.
Dr. Wu is a registered social worker and clinical counselor with international experience, including leadership roles at Shih-Chien University and Ming Shin University. She actively serves on editorial boards for journals like Chinese Medicine & Culture, and contributes to organizations such as the Canadian Dementia Resource & Knowledge Exchange. Her awards include the Servant Leader Award (2018) and recognition as one of the Top 100 Educators (2018).
Her work integrates clinical practice, education, and research to address healthcare disparities and promote servant leadership. Current projects include studies on TCM adoption in Western contexts and mental health responses during the pandemic. Dr. Wu also advises on leadership development and quality assurance in healthcare systems.
