Tina Spittle is a Senior Lecturer in Paramedic Science at Staffordshire University, affiliated with the School of Health, Education, Policing and Sciences. With a 20-year career in emergency services, she transitioned from NHS operating theatre work to paramedic roles, including mentorship and hospital liaison. Her academic journey includes a BSc in Biomedical Science (Wolverhampton University) and a BSc in Paramedic Science (Staffordshire University), followed by a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher and Professional Education and FHEA recognition.
Her research focuses on Cardiac Arrest clinical developments, trauma immobilisation strategies, MTFA, and interprofessional education. Teaching modules include Biological Sciences, Clinical Skills, and Applied Clinical Practice. She actively engages in public outreach, appearing on TV programs like 'Inside the Ambulance' and collaborating on campaigns like 'Dying to Drive.'
Awards include Whatuni Student Choice Awards 2023 and recognition of Staffordshire University’s 'Outstanding' research impact. Her professional memberships include HCPC registration and HEA fellowship.
