Professor Tina Soliman Hunter is a Professor of Energy and Resources Law at Macquarie University and Co-Director of the Transforming Energy Markets (TEM) Research Centre. She previously directed the Centre for Energy and Natural Resources Innovation and Transformation (CENRIT). Her expertise spans energy law, petroleum law (especially offshore), decommissioning, carbon storage, and the energy transition. She holds interdisciplinary qualifications in marine sedimentology, geology, political science, and law, with a PhD from the University of Bergen.

Advisory and Projects:
Lead researcher on projects such as NuNEM (nuclear integration into Australia's energy market), Hy-Q (hydrogen industry regulation), and DOPII (offshore petroleum decommissioning). Collaborates globally on energy policy, legal frameworks, and environmental governance.
Labs/Teams: Co-directs the TEM Research Centre, integrating law, policy, and technology to address energy market challenges. Formerly led CENRIT, now part of TEM.
