Tina M. Sauber

Dr. Tina M. Sauber is an Assistant Professor and Associate Director of the Bridge Program for the Doctoral Program in Occupational Therapy at Huntington University, where she joined the faculty in 2023. She holds concurrent roles as an Assistant Professor at the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences and a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation consultant at Mayo Clinic, specializing in acute care, emergency medicine, and primary care. She is also a Senior Fellow in the Mayo Clinic Academy of Education Excellence and a MedBridge course instructor.

Her education includes a Doctor of Occupational Therapy (specializing in Practice Administration & Management) from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, a Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of North Dakota, and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the same institution. She maintains board certification in physical rehabilitation (BCPR) and Prosci Change Management certification.

Dr. Sauber's research focuses on occupational therapy innovations across diverse clinical domains, including neurological rehabilitation, concussion management, vestibular disorders, transplant care, and critical/emergency medicine. Her work integrates leadership, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice to advance patient outcomes and professional education.

She has received significant recognition, including:
