Scientific and artistic recognition includes multiple NYFA fellowships, prestigious residencies at MacDowell Colony, and awards from the Academy of American Poets. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes creative authenticity and community engagement, evidenced by programs like Meet the Author she founded.
