Dr. Tina Barbour-Taylor serves as the Program Director for the Direct Entry Master of Science in Nursing and holds the position of Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice at the University of West Florida's School of Nursing within the College of Health. With 29 years of nursing experience and 9 years in nursing education, her work focuses on enhancing student outcomes through innovative teaching strategies, simulation-based learning, and curriculum development. She has led a mixed-methods study on simulation's impact on clinical judgment and student confidence.

Research & Expertise: Dr. Barbour-Taylor's research emphasizes simulation in nursing education, community health needs assessment, and academic coaching.
