Timothy Zakutney is an Adjunct Research Professor in the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering at Carleton University and serves as Senior Vice President, Digital Health and Cardiac Technology, and Chief Information and Technology Officer at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. He holds advanced qualifications including an MHSc in Clinical Engineering (University of Toronto) and is a Professional Engineer (PEng), Certified Clinical Engineer (CCE), and Fellow of the Canadian Medical and Biological Engineering Society (FCMBES). His expertise spans biomedical engineering, clinical technology management, and healthcare informatics.
