Timothy Yarrington

Timothy Yarrington serves as a Lecturer in Brewing and Fermentation Science within the School of Arts and Sciences at Pennsylvania College of Technology, joining the faculty in Spring 2017 after extensive industry experience.

His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Science from The Pennsylvania State University (graduated cum laude) and specialized training through the University of California Davis's Master Brewer's Program.

Yarrington's expertise centers on practical brewing science and fermentation technology, with deep industry experience in brewery startup management and operational leadership. His work bridges academic curriculum development with real-world craft beer production techniques, emphasizing hands-on training for students.

His professional accolades include:

Yarrington directed brewery startups across the Northeastern United States, including Long Valley Pub and Brewery (1995-2002) and New Times Square Brewery (2002-2005), while consulting on Penn College's program development.
