Timothy Mitchell

Timothy Mitchell, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at Washington University School of Medicine. He holds a PhD in Physics from Washington University in St. Louis (2011), an MS in Medical Physics from the University of Missouri (2014), and completed his Medical Physics Residency at Stanford School of Medicine (2016). He joined the faculty in 2016 after completing his residency training.

His research focuses on the application of fMRI to study cortical networks in the presence of tumors and using advanced image analysis techniques to determine cutout factors for electron cutouts in radiation therapy.
