Timothy Honig serves as Assistant Professor of Music Therapy and program director for the music therapy degree at Westfield State University. A board-certified music therapist (MT-BC), he maintains clinical practice in psychiatric health, oncology, private practice, and medical settings with expertise in improvisation, song-based interventions, and imagery techniques.

- Master in Music Therapy (MMT) from Appalachian State University
- Bachelor of Music in performance from Lawrence University Conservatory
Dr. Honig's research specializes in therapeutic applications of music and imagery within mental healthcare systems, with emphasis on Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) methodology.
