Tim O'Sullivan is a Professor in the Department of Classics at Trinity University, where he has been part of the faculty since 2003. He teaches courses in Latin Literature, Roman Culture, and Greek/Roman History.

- B.A. from Princeton University
His research focuses on Augustan and Early Imperial Literature, Roman Cultural Studies, and Roman Domestic Art & Architecture. He has extensively analyzed Roman texts like Virgil’s Aeneid and Apuleius’ Golden Ass, exploring themes such as leisure walking, mythological landscapes, and urban cultural dynamics.
His recent publications include studies on Roman painting, Epic travel narratives, and Roman domestic space, reflecting his interdisciplinary approach to classical texts and material culture. He also contributes to book reviews of key works in Roman architecture and philosophy.
O'Sullivan serves as a faculty mentor for the Eta Sigma Phi honor society and collaborates with the Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies in Rome. He is a co-founder of the Central Texas Classics Calendar, organizing academic events in the field.
