Tim Foutz, Ph.D., is the Josiah Meigs Distinguished Teaching Professor of Engineering at the University of Georgia's College of Engineering. He specializes in engineering education and has pioneered interdisciplinary approaches integrating humanities/social sciences into technical curricula. Dr. Foutz served as inaugural director of the First-Year Odyssey program, designed to acclimate freshmen to university academic life. His research focuses on pedagogical models for interdisciplinary education and has received federal funding for related initiatives.
