Tim Fleiner

Dr. Tim Fleiner is a researcher and group leader at the LVR-Klinik Köln, Abteilung für Gerontopsychiatrie und -psychotherapie, focusing on geriatric healthcare and movement gerontology. He holds a PhD in Sport- and Movement Gerontology (2014) and a degree in Physiotherapy (2010). His work integrates clinical exercise science, motion sensor technology, and behavioral interventions for aging populations.

• Research Focus: Dementia care, neuropsychiatric symptoms, physical activity interventions, and mobility in geriatric psychiatry.
• Teaching: Leads courses in Sport and Movement Gerontology (MSc) and Rehabilitation, Prevention and Health Management (MA).
