Dr. Tim Craig is an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Sciences within the Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), maintaining active research collaborations with the University of Bristol, University of Derby, and University of Bath.
His educational background includes:

Dr. Craig's research centers on molecular mechanisms linking nutrient supply to neuronal health, with seminal work establishing Type-2 Diabetes as the foremost non-genetic risk factor for Alzheimer's Disease. His investigations span neurodegeneration pathways, diabetes-brain interactions, and cellular biochemistry, emphasizing diet's role in neuroprotection.
