Dr. Til Stürmer is the Nancy A. Dreyer Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Department of Epidemiology at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. His work focuses on advancing methodologies for nonexperimental treatment comparisons, particularly in pharmacoepidemiology and comparative effectiveness research. He leads one of the world's premier pharmacoepidemiology training programs and has pioneered approaches to address confounding in older adult populations.
