Tiffany Rhynard is an Associate Professor in the School of Dance at Florida State University (FSU), specializing in cross-disciplinary work that merges dance, film, and social justice advocacy. Her research focuses on documentary film, real-time digital media, and community engagement, addressing issues like LGBTQ+ rights, immigration policy, and racial equity.

Her award-winning documentary Forbidden: Undocumented and Queer in Rural America (2017) received the Social Justice Film Award from the Southern Poverty Law Center and screens on LogoTV. Current projects include A Right to Kill, a feature-length documentary exploring capital punishment ethics.
