Tiffany Lu

Dr. Tiffany Lu is an Associate Professor with dual appointments in the Departments of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Based at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, she focuses on developing hospital-based opioid treatment programs and integrating harm reduction practices for substance use disorders.

Her research examines clinical program implementation and workforce development in addiction medicine. She previously led Montefiore Medical Center's Buprenorphine Treatment Network, establishing primary care-based opioid treatment across community health centers. Dr. Lu has directed federally-funded initiatives to expand addiction education for medical trainees and implement nurse care management models.

Her publications address critical gaps in addiction treatment, including hospital-based interventions, clinician training needs, and community care models for underserved populations.
