Tiffany Bortz

Tiffany Bortz is a Professor of Practice in the Department of Accounting at the Jindal School of Management, University of Texas at Dallas. She serves as Associate Area Coordinator and Director of the Professional Program in Accounting, while also being a Certified Public Accountant.

• BBA in Accounting, Texas A&M University (1994)

Her expertise lies in financial accounting education, with a particular emphasis on ethics for professional accountants. She teaches Intermediate Financial Accounting courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

As a dedicated educator, she has received multiple teaching awards:

• Jindal School Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award (2016-2017, 2008-2009)
• Nominated as Outstanding Accounting Educator by Texas Society of CPAs (2010-2018)
• Nominated for Texas Society of CPAs Rising Star Award (2012-2013)

She actively contributes to professional organizations as a Beta Alpha Psi Faculty Advisor, Dallas CPA Society Scholarship Committee member, and through affiliations with the American Accounting Association and Texas Society of CPAs.
