معرفی
Tianyue Zhou is a Research Fellow at the Chair for Sinology with a focus on the Intellectual and Cultural History of China at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU). His research investigates the historical development of statistical systems and quantitative culture in modern and contemporary China, particularly analyzing why advanced statistical techniques did not emerge during China's planned economy era despite data-centric approaches. He explores how these methodologies transformed post-Reform and Opening-up, shaping China's current political-economic framework. His work also examines quantitative culture's role in socialist modernization distinct from Western models.
