Stefan Christ is a postdoctoral researcher at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), affiliated with the Chair for Sinology focused on Intellectual and Cultural History of China. He holds a PhD from the University of Hamburg and has conducted studies in Berlin, Hamburg, Beijing, and Nanjing. His research examines the conceptual and intellectual history of modern China, particularly the role of quantification in societal modernization and the evolution of theater concepts.
