Tiago Jones is an Associate Professor of Spanish and Chair of the Department of Foreign Languages at Campbell University. He holds a PhD and MA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH), alongside certificates in ESL from the University of Cambridge and Hispanic Studies from UNC-Wilmington. With over 20 years at Campbell, he previously taught at Chowan University and the University of Puerto Rico. His academic leadership includes directing the Costa Rica study abroad program and advising Catholic student groups. Dr. Jones is deeply involved with his local Catholic church and family life. His research focuses on Hispanic Studies, Latin American history, and literary translation.
