León Narváez serves as Professor of Romance Languages and Latin American Studies at St. Olaf College, concurrently holding the position of Co-Director for the Latin American Studies program. He maintains active student engagement through office hours (M/W 9-10am, TH 2:15-3:15pm), the Spanish Conversation Table, and Spanish Club initiatives.

His research integrates cultural studies, migration dynamics, and linguistic analysis within Latin American contexts, profoundly shaped by lived experience across Puerto Rico, Mexico, Colombia, Spain, and Costa Rica. This transnational perspective informs his interdisciplinary approach to Hispanic literature and sociolinguistics.
