Thérèse Callus is a Professor of Law at the University of Reading's School of Law. She is seconded to the Law Commission of England and Wales (2023-2025). Her research focuses on family law, bioethics, and medical law, with particular attention to issues like financial provision in divorce, human dignity principles, and end-of-life care legal frameworks.
Her academic engagements include presentations at the Society of Legal Scholars Annual Conference (2015), the International Academic Network on Bioethics workshops in Istanbul (2015) and Monaco (2014), and conferences in Rennes (2010) and Kyoto (2009).
