Thurid Hustedt is the Dean of Graduate Programmes and a Professor of Public Administration and Management at the Hertie School in Berlin. Her research focuses on public sector change dynamics, political-administrative relations, and comparative public administration. She serves as Managing Editor of the peer-reviewed journal dms – der moderne Staat. Previously, she held visiting professorships at Freie Universität Berlin and postdoctoral roles at the University of Potsdam. Her academic career includes visiting research at the University of Bergen and University of Toronto. She earned a PhD and Diplom in Public Administration from Potsdam University.
