Thu Tran

Dr. Thu Tran is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of English and Technical Communication at Missouri University of Science and Technology. He has been affiliated with the institution since 2012, previously serving as manager of the Applied Language Institute/Intensive English Program and the Graduate Teaching Assistant Program. His teaching focuses on ESL courses including English 1110, 1120, and 1160.

Dr. Tran holds an Ed.D. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Alliant International University (2011), an M.A. in TESOL from the University of Canberra (2004), and a B.A. in English Linguistics and Literature from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Ho Chi Minh City (2001).

His research interests center on effective language teaching methodologies, educational technology integration, and strategies for enhancing ESL instruction.
