Thorsten Peters

Dr. Thorsten Peters is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Applied Physics, Technical University of Darmstadt, where he has been a Senior Scientist since 2010. His academic journey includes physics studies at the University of Kaiserslautern (1997-2002), where he completed his Diploma thesis on coherent control of photodissociation. He earned his PhD from the same institution in 2006, focusing on coherent population transfer in noble gases. Peters further conducted postdoctoral research at National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan (2006-2010), specializing in laser cooling and Bose-Einstein condensation.
