Dr. Thomas Paulsen is a Professor and Dean of Agriculture and Aviation at Morningside University, affiliated with the Applied Agriculture & Food Studies department. A first-generation college graduate, he holds a B.S. from Northwest Missouri State (1987), an M.S. (2001), and Ph.D. (2011) in Agricultural Education from Iowa State University.
His research focuses on effective teaching practices in agricultural education, particularly in higher education capstone programs and teacher training. Before entering higher education, he taught and coached at high schools in Iowa for 21 years.
