Thomas Nedorost is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Central Florida (UCF), where he has been since 2012. He serves as Course Coordinator for courses such as CIS3003-Fundamentals of Information Technology and CIS4364-Cyber Defense Analysis. He directs the Cyber Operations Certificate program and the CS/IT Internship Program. He is the Faculty Advisor for the Collegiate Cyber Defense Club (Hack@UCF) and Coach of the UCF Collegiate Cybersecurity Competition (C3) Team, which has won 13 national championships in competitions like the National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition and DOE CyberForce Competition.

Under his leadership, the UCF C3 Team has achieved significant success, including multiple national titles. Hack@UCF earned the Collegiate Cybersecurity Championship Cup in 2014 and 2015. His career includes prior roles at Valencia College and industry experience with companies like Andersen Consulting (Accenture) and Disney.
He oversees academic programs and competitive teams, emphasizing practical cybersecurity training and student achievement. No personal scientific awards are listed, but his teams' accolades reflect his impactful mentorship.
