Thomas Nederost is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Central Florida within the College of Engineering and Computer Science, Department of Computer Science. He coordinates courses such as CIS3003: Fundamentals of Information Technology, CIS4364: Cyber Defense Analysis, and CIS4940C: Topics in Cybersecurity. He also directs the Cyber Operations Certificate program and the CS/IT Internship program.

Thomas received recognition for leading the UCF Collegiate Cybersecurity Competition (C3) team to multiple national championships and for Hack@UCF winning the Collegiate Cybersecurity Championship Cup in 2014 and 2015. These achievements highlight his expertise in applied cybersecurity education.
