Thomas Mondragon is an Assistant Professor at Antioch University Los Angeles, affiliated with the MA in Psychology program. He serves as a founding instructor in both the LGBT Specialization and the Spiritual and Depth Psychology Specialization, emphasizing diversity consciousness across cultural, interpersonal, and intrapersonal dimensions.

Thomas Mondragon’s research and teaching focus on LGBT affirmative psychotherapy, Jungian psychology, addiction recovery, and intercultural depth psychology. His work bridges clinical practice with social advocacy, particularly in creating inclusive mental health frameworks for LGBTQ+ communities.
Activism and Professional Contributions: Mondragon has been a longtime activist in the gay community, presenting at national conferences such as the National Conference of Race and Ethnicity and the Expanding the Circle Conference. He developed a training site for the LGBT Specialization at Being Alive, an HIV non-profit, and brings expertise in Jungian psychoanalytic theory to his clinical and academic roles.
Private Practice and Experience: With extensive experience in addiction recovery, Mondragon previously served as Clinical Director at Clearview Treatment Programs’ dual diagnosis outpatient program. He maintains a private practice in West Hollywood, specializing in gay-centered psychotherapy.
