Thomas Michaels

Thomas Michaels is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biology, ETH Zürich, leading the Michaels Group. His research focuses on theoretical models of biomolecular condensates and protein aggregation in biological systems.

• Research Themes: Protein aggregation, liquid-liquid phase separation, membrane biophysics, and the role of condensates in neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
