Thomas McNeil

Thomas McNeil is a Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Community Ecology, Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) in Halle, Germany. His research focuses on microbial ecology, forest ecology, and biodiversity-ecosystem functioning relationships. He holds a BSc in Microbiology from the University of Victoria (Canada) and an MSc in Environmental Pollution from the University of Reading (UK). His work explores plant-microbe interactions and soil nutrient dynamics, particularly in temperate woodland ecosystems.
