Thomas MacIntyre is a Part-Time Lecturer at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts (SMFA) at Tufts University, teaching Photography and Computer Arts on the Medford Campus. He concurrently serves as Chair of the New Media department at Littleton High School, where he teaches digital photography, Web design, TV studio, and digital video. He holds a BFA from Metropolitan State College of Denver (2000) and an MFA from the Museum School/Tufts University (2003), where he was a graduate teaching fellow.
His artistic practice and teaching focus on Photography, Digital Media, and New Media Art. He has exhibited work in venues such as the Museum School’s BAG Gallery, Hampshire College’s 'Le Flaneur,' and Tufts University Gallery’s 'Life Was Different Then.' MacIntyre has also led public art initiatives with Boston Inspires and the Denver Housing Authority’s Art Builds Communities program.
