Thomas Harrison

Thomas Harrison is a Professor of Italian at the University of California, Los Angeles, within the department of European Languages and Transcultural Studies. His work bridges disciplines, focusing on modern European intellectual history, literature, and the comparative arts and culture.

• Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the Graduate Center, CUNY
• Author of Of Bridges: A Poetic and Philosophical Account (2021) and 1910: The Emancipation of Dissonance (1996)
