Thomas Götselius is a Professor in the Department of Culture and Aesthetics at Stockholm University. His work spans literary history, discourse analysis, and the cultural significance of writing practices across historical periods. He is actively involved in multiple research groups including Network Language and Power, Portal 1700, and the Seminar of Premodern Texts.
Professor Götselius's research interests include:

His current research project "The Author's Hand: A Literary History of Handwriting" examines how digital media allows us to reconsider handwriting's historical impact at a time when it might seem obsolete.
