Thomas Goldsby is the Dee & Jimmy Haslam Chair of Supply Chain and Professor of Supply Chain Management at the University of Tennessee. He also serves as co-executive director of the Global Supply Chain Institute and directs the MS-SCM Tricon program. A globally recognized authority in logistics and supply chain management, Goldsby has published over 100 articles, six books, and advises industry partners on strategic supply chain issues. He co-hosts the 'Tennessee on Supply Chain Management' podcast and has delivered executive education programs worldwide. His research focuses on logistics strategy, supply chain integration, lean/agile strategies, and global trade policies. Goldsby has received multiple best paper awards, the DC Velocity Rainmaker Award (2019), and the Lifetime Achievement Award from Supply Chain Leaders in Action (2019).
Education: PhD in Business Administration (Michigan State University, 1998), MBA in Economics and Transportation (University of Kentucky, 1993), BS in Economics and Finance (University of Evansville, 1992).

He explores how transparency, agility, and technology drive modern supply chain performance. His recent work addresses cyber resilience, tariff harmonization effects, and ethical sourcing practices.
