Dr. Thomas G. Hofmann is a leading researcher in cellular senescence and aging biology, currently heading the junior research group "Cellular Senescence" at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg since 2006. His work focuses on understanding how cells enter senescence, the interplay between stress signals and aging, and how cancer cells evade these protective mechanisms.
