Thomas Folsom, J.D. is a Senior Lecturing Fellow at Regent University School of Law. He holds a B.S. from the U.S. Air Force Academy, a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, and postgraduate work at St. John’s College. His career spans military service (U.S. Air Force Security Service, NSA cryptology), legal practice (Davis, Graham & Stubbs; Faegre Baker Daniels), and academia. He has taught at multiple universities including University of Colorado (adjunct), University of Denver (visiting professor), Gonzaga, University of North Dakota (Assistant/Associate Professor), and Regent University (Professor/Senior Lecturer).

- Recognitions: Regent Law School Teacher of the Year (2005, 2019), University Award for Excellence in Scholarship (2010)
Research focuses on neo-tech issues in IP/cybersecurity and legal theory. His 2009 Ladas Memorial Award-winning article 'Space Pirates' analyzes emerging legal challenges in technology and space law.
Led professional roles including President of Regent's Faculty Senate (5 years) and patent attorney registration. Active in international legal education, presenting in France and teaching in Romania.
