Thomas E. Brzozowski

Thomas E. Brzozowski is a Lecturer in Law at George Washington University and currently serves as Counsel for Domestic Terrorism in the Counterterrorism Section of the U.S. Department of Justice. His career combines military service and legal expertise, including roles as an artillery officer in the U.S. Army, an officer in the Army JAG Corps in Europe, and a clerk for Judge Stanley Birch, Jr. at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

• Education: BA and JD from the College of William & Mary, LLM from Georgetown University, and MSS from the United States Army War College.

His professional experience includes six years in the Army JAG Corps, a Deputy Legal Advisor role in the U.S. Army Reserves, and prior service as Assistant General Counsel in the FBI’s Office of General Counsel. His research interests align with counterterrorism law, military legal frameworks, and national security policy.
