Thomas DeGeorge

Dr. Thomas DeGeorge is an Assistant Professor and serves in dual administrative roles as Director and Clinical Supervisor of the Counseling Center and Director of the Graduate Counseling Office at Rosemont College. He is actively involved in teaching graduate-level counseling courses and clinical supervision.

Dr. DeGeorge's research and clinical interests center on family systems, autism spectrum disorder, and clinical supervision. He specializes in family and couples counseling, diagnosis and treatment, and ethical practices in mental health.

While no recent publications are listed, his academic and clinical work reflects a consistent focus on counselor training, family dynamics, and neurodiversity support systems.

Dr. DeGeorge is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). He is an active member of several professional organizations:

He provides clinical supervision and case consultation nationally and continues to see clients through Philadelphia Counseling Associates. He previously taught as an Adjunct Professor at Waynesburg University during his doctoral studies and has nearly 30 years of clinical experience.

Dr. DeGeorge is also involved in outdoor and experiential activities, having participated in surfing, rowing, scuba diving, and a 30-story rappel for Outward Bound, reflecting his commitment to experiential learning and personal growth.
